Our Imports

Here’s a look at a few of the classic cars we’ve brought over in the past. Every one of them has its own history, and we’re proud to have helped get them to their new homes.

The Mini

This was our first ever import! This car was the reason we are here today. A 1970 Austin Mini, 4 speed manual, cherry red, go cart! I flew to England with my father and we spend a week exploring the UK and ended up acquiring this Mini. We shipped it back to Michigan where we enjoyed having it in our collection for a year till it sold to a collector later that summer.

1992 Robinhood Lotus 7

This Robinhood Lotus 7 came into our hands in the summer of 2024 and it immediately became one of the most interesting cars we’ve brought over. It started life as a kit built by a guy in the UK who clearly knew what he was doing. Everything about it feels intentional. It’s light quick and built to make every mile incredibly fun.
It runs a Ford inline four paired with a five speed manual, which is the perfect setup for a car like this. It wants to be driven. The steering is direct, the chassis feels planted, and the whole thing handles like it was designed for backroad corners and empty straightaways. It’s raw in the best way. There’s no fluff. Just a simple proven setup that delivers an honest driving experience.

1991 Nissan Figaro

We picked up this Figaro in the summer of 2024 after finding it tucked away in the countrysides of Oxford. It originally started life in Japan, made its way to the UK, and eventually ended up catching our eye. The car had this relaxed, charming presence to it that fit the Oxford vibe perfectly, and it felt like the right one to bring back home to Michigan.

It’s clean, well kept, and carries that classic Figaro personality that people fall in love with. There’s something cool about knowing this car has already lived a little and traveled across two countries before landing here. It drives smooth, looks great, and has that simple retro feel that makes Figaros so addictive.

1991 Nissan Figaro

We found this Figaro in 2024 up in Sheffield, tucked away in surprisingly good condition for its age. The Lapis Grey color really stood out in person. It’s one of those shades that looks even better in natural light than it does in photos. Everything about the car felt right: clean interior, smooth engine, and that classic Figaro charm that makes people immediately smile.

This one ended up going to a collector who wanted something special for his mom, which honestly made the import feel a little extra meaningful. It’s cool knowing a car like this, which spent its life in Japan and then the UK, is now part of someone’s family story here in the States.
