Our Story
This all started as a daydream. I was working as an intern in a financial firm, bored out of my mind, when I started thinking about my childhood dream car: a classic Mini Cooper. And yes, it’s because it’s the same car Mr. Bean drove.
I started looking up Minis online and realized they were north of fifteen thousand dollars in the US. And as a college student that was out of my budget. But then I had a thought: what are they going for in the country where they're common?
So, right there in the office, I pulled up UK classifieds. Suddenly I was seeing good-condition Minis for a fraction of US prices.
That kicked off a year of research. Buying a car overseas is one thing, but getting it home is another. I spent months learning every step of the import process, every document, every port, every mistake people usually make.
Once I finally had it down, I flew to England with my dad and bought a 1970 Austin Mini. I imported it myself. And from that moment, I knew I wasn’t done. Two years later, we’ve imported four cars, with a fifth on the way.
